How Points Are Calculated

The application calculates the score separately for each criterion and task. The sum of these points constitutes the student's score. The effect of any criterion on the total score is related to the weight of the criterion. You can think of weight as a percentage.

For example

Let's say you set the weight of the criterion to 20. If the total weight of the criteria is 100, the effect of the criterion on the score is 20%. So any student can get a maximum of 20 points from this criterion. But over time, you can add new criteria. In this case; for example, if the total weight of the criteria is 200, the effect of our criteria on the score will be 10%. So the student can get a maximum of 10 points

How to Calculate the Rating of the Criterion

You have created the criteria. You can now give students + or - based on these criteria. The sum of these forms the student's raw score for that criterion.

For example

If a student gets 20 + , 3 - the raw score is 20-3=17.

Conversion of raw score to standard score

In order to calculate the student's score from a criterion, the value of the raw scores must first be calculated. Simply put, the point value of the criterion is divided by the raw score of the most successful student. The resulting value gives the value of 1 raw score for that criterion. In this way, the student who is most successful in that criterion receives the full score of the criterion.

For example

Let the point value of the criterion be 20. If the raw score of the most successful student is 10, the raw score value is 20/10=2. In this case, the student with a raw score of 8 gets 8x2=16 points from that criterion. If the raw score of the most successful student over time is 20, the raw score value will be 20/20=1, so the student with a raw score of 8 will get 8x1=8 points.
